Moving a Ubigi eSIM to a new device

Symptom

You bought a new phone and want to keep your Ubigi plan. Ubigi eSIM profiles are linked to the original device's EID — you can't simply scan the QR code on a new device.

  2. 2Open a support ticket via the account dashboard and select "Transfer eSIM to new device."
  3. 3Provide your new device's EID (Settings → General → About → EID on iPhone; Settings → About phone → SIM status → EID on Android).
  4. 4Wait for Ubigi to issue a new activation code (typically 1-2 business days).
  5. 5Install the new code on the new device via Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM.
